The Upshur County Commission is accepting Upshur County landscape photography submissions to be displayed in the Administrative Annex at 91 W Main Street. Eligible photographers must be residents of Upshur County and in grades 6-12. Electronic submissions including the name, address, age/grade, contact information and proof of public school, private school or home school enrollment must be sent to Carrie Wallace, County Administrator, via email to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 25th. Photography will be reviewed by the Upshur County Commission in their regular meeting on Thursday, January 26th and six photos will be selected and displayed in the Administrative Annex conference room. The public is invited to view the successful submission during the Administrative Annex ribbon cutting and open house scheduled for Friday, February 10th from 12 pm – 1pm.
