The Commission has approved Judith L. Williams, James W. Curry Librarian, to move forward in purchasing an Integrated Library System for the library. According to Williams, utilizing an Integrated Library Management System will provide a trust-building loan experience while affording maximum patron privacy and inventory control. It will provide consistent, standardized cataloging and can generate circulation reports which are an integral part of the collection management for both selection and deselection". An ILS system will allow James W. Curry to provide electronic resources and essentially be open 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. Patrons can also look forward to extra benefits such as library key cards. James W. Curry Library is located on Brooks Hill Road in Selbyville, WV.
